You can purchase it from our e-store now and it will soon be available for purchase in all Amazon stores worldwide. Please also note that our e-store ships worldwide. So this is an early X-Mas Gift! Welcome to ColdBox Books!
Like all other human things, if you find any errata or suggestions for the book please send us your comments to info@coldbox.org. Also, please note that I am starting already on the next version of the book and our other two books, so get ready for more fun!

Dec 2, 2009 at 11:59 PM Keep up informed about availability via Amazon in the UK. A 50% premium on the book price to cover shipping makes the book hard to justify outside of the US. :-)
Dec 3, 2009 at 5:32 AM Agreed, I'd love to know if / when it'll be available from UK sites like Amazon to avoid the shipping cost. The cheaper it is, the easier to convince the boss ;)
Dec 3, 2009 at 10:53 AM Are there any plans for a PDF / electronic version?
Dec 3, 2009 at 12:36 PM Kindle version is available.
The UK and international distribution takes about 4-8 weeks. So it will get there eventually. For now, our e-store is available.
Dec 3, 2009 at 1:15 PM Luis,
Is the color version coming soon as well?
Thank you,
Gabriel
Dec 3, 2009 at 6:37 PM The color version will be delayed for a while as the pricing on it is really expensive as of now. I am looking for alternatives, I might post it just in case somebody would like to purchase it, but as of now it would be above $100 for a copy as it is 412 pages in full color.
Dec 3, 2009 at 6:47 PM Wow. That is significant.
Just placed my order about a half hour ago. I figured color was just a luxury and I need to save my pennies. Especially with a 3.0 version in the works and two mystery books as possibilities. :-)

Dec 4, 2009 at 1:15 PM hmmm...when will the book on ColdBox 3.0 come out? I'm a bit wary of buying a book on ColdBox 2.6.3 with 3.0 on the horizon. Specially with so many changes coming in the new version.
Dec 4, 2009 at 1:21 PM @tony
The 3.0 version of the book won't be available for at least a year. Not until everything is stable and I can write documentation for it. So don't expect and update of the book until maybe this time in 2010.
Dec 8, 2009 at 1:12 PM Same here, was about to buy but the cost of shipping to the UK is far to high that's if I want the book this side of 2009! There seems to be a bunch of us from the UK that want to buy could you not find a cheaper service that's seems a tad high @ $40 for standard shipping is the book that heavy?
Dec 8, 2009 at 2:06 PM Yep. The distribution should get there soon enough, they have said 4-6 weeks from release date (last week). So I will keep pinging them to see when it goes to the UK stores.
Dec 8, 2009 at 2:46 PM Will you be putting this on O'Reilly Safari Books?
Thanks
Dec 10, 2009 at 12:34 PM What sort of timeframe are we looking at before its in the Amazon uk store?
Dec 11, 2009 at 7:34 AM @Luis,
Thanks for the info. I just ordered my copy.
Dec 14, 2009 at 9:37 AM I also would like to see it on O'Reilly's Safari Bookshelf as I have a subscription there!

May 11, 2010 at 5:02 PM Luis, I have a copy of the book, is there any way I could get the ebook version without spending another $39.99? Let me know. Thanks and God bless.
